Fully enclosed QH light source, Bentham manufactures a range of fully light-tight lamp housings and accessories, such as filter wheels, for use in dark environment applications, e.g. detector responsivity, CCD characterisation.

The IL75E is an ellipsoidal reflector based 75W xenon lamp. It is designed to optimise the light launched into a monochromator, integrating sphere or fibre optic bundle.
Typically, it proves more efficient than lens based xenon sources rated up to 500W. The lamp starter is integrated; 605 power supply is recommended.

Bentham manufactures a range of small area, typically less than 10cm2 , solar simulator sources including artificial 'sky' and 'direct sun'. These sources are routinely used for solar cell characterisation, display contrast ratio measurement, and photochromic material testing.

The US-4/6/8 are a family of integrating sphere (100mm to 200mm dia.) based uniform sources primarily designed for calibrating and characterising digital cameras, CCDs and PDAs.

The WLS100 is a general purpose fibre coupled white light source. It is designed to maximise the coupling of broad band light into terminated fibre optics (FC, SAM, etc). It incorporates a constant current driven 100W QH lamp running at approx. 3200K. Its' useful spectral range is 350nm to 2500nm.
